Autism Society of Greater Akron

In 2012, the Autism Society of Greater Akron began endorsing my presentation and training material.  I would like to thank Laurie Cramer for making this happen.  With this new collaboration, it has allowed me to get my presentation out to many others.  This has also allowed me to help raise awareness on this increasingly common disorder.  The Autism Society of Greater Akron has also provided me with numerous brochures, which I pass out at all my trainings.

I also serve on the board of the Autism Society of Greater Akron and have served on the board since 2011.  I am not only a volunteer on the board, I am also the race director for our big fundraiser held each year in June in downtown Akron.  This fundraiser is a 5K run and one mile fun walk.

Check out our promotional video below.  At the Autism Society of Greater Akron, this is only some of what we do to help families affected by autism.

Lace It, Race It, Face It

This year the board re-designed our annual run/walk event to “Akron Autism 5K and Walk; Lace It, Race It, Face It.”  This event starts in downtown Akron at Lock 3 and finishes on the towpath; directly behind Lock 3.  Each year the race gets better and the event continues to grow.  Please consider supporting this great cause and the Autism Society of Ohio.
